My name is Shaun Bazzard and I am a licensed multi-disciplinary pipe trade and welder organizing for the Ontario Pipe Trades Council in Northern Ontario. I am proud to be working for an organization of people that are focussed on being the best they can be in an ever-changing industry.

A career with the UA has been the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life. It has given me the chance to educate myself to the highest level, to pursue the most challenging work opportunities that would ensure my continued growth and has kept me competitive in an ever-changing and diverse economy.

The opportunity to educate trades and apprentices on their rights and responsibilities is integral to improving work conditions and standards for all. Providing the best resources and support to those in need is what will help people reach their true potential and make the piping industry a stronger and safer place for the employment of our youth in the future.
